About the Display of Overlapping ECAD Objects
In PCB Layout designs, click Home > Overlap Color to determine the display of two or more layers at their points of overlap. The overlap view consists of three colors, one for each of the layers being viewed, and the third for the areas where they overlap.
To filter out unnecessary colors and images, you can set the Active View to include overlaps of different layers in one of the following ways:
Where the image overlaps design data (default).
Where geometries of two separate layers overlap.
Where any geometries overlap.
In a Schematic view, use the overlap color to control the display of comparison images from Creo View ECAD Validate. By default, the button is off.
