About Importing and Exporting CSV Files
Attributes can be imported from a CSV file either to add missing attributes or to edit the values of existing attributes. Existing attributes can also be exported as a CSV file so that you can edit the attributes and then import them back into the illustration.
When importing a CSV file, you can choose to link the information to an illustration, or embed the file. For more information, see To Set Loading Options.
