Setting Parameters > Author States Options for the Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric

Author State settings for Creo Parametric were on the Parameters > Miscellaneous sub-tab in version 3.1 F000 and earlier.
Use the Author States subtab to control the conversion of Author States from Creo Parametric.
1. Select to enable the conversion of Author States and Pro/Process Sequences.

◦ Simplified Reps
◦ Orientations
◦ Explodes
◦ Sections
◦ Pro/Process Sequences
2. Select a filter option for each selected Author State.
3. For Include and Exclude, specify the Author States to include or exclude in the text box:
◦ None—Does not convert any of the available author states.
◦ All—Converts all available author states.
◦ Include—Includes only the author states entered in the text box.
◦ Exclude—Excludes only the author states entered in the text box.

• You can add multiple items in the text box, separated by , “comma”.
• Wildcard characters (* and ?) are supported.
* 
If Publish is selected for an author state in the View Manager in Creo Parametric, that state takes precedent over recipe settings for those Author states.
Only the published combined state in Creo Parametric is published to Creo View viewables, and that is the reason it takes precedence over combined state filter available in the recipe settings.
