Check the following items to ensure that your system is able to run the Creo ViewAdapter for CADDS 5:

• The Creo View Adapter for CADDS 5 can be used only on a UNIX machine.

• The Creo View Adapter for CADDS 5 must be supported on the operating system, CADDS 5 version, and meet the minimum requirements as shown in the Software Matrices available at:

http://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/doc/refdoc.jsp

• Prior to configuring the Creo View Adapter for CADDS 5, validate your CADDS 5 environment. CADDS 5 must be correctly configured and licensed when converting drawings; otherwise, the adapter will not work.

• Ensure that your operating system has adequate CPU and storage systems.

• Confirm and note the command line used to run CADDS 5.

• The adapter operates under a user account that must be configured to run CADDS 5.

If you attempt to load data into CADDS 5 and have problems, those same problems will prevent the adapter from converting the data to the Creo View format.
