Supported Data and Entities for Creo Parametric
The Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric supports a number of CAD data types and features found in Creo View. The next two tables show which Creo CAD data types and features are supported. Supported extensions, types, and subtypes are marked with an X in the Supported by Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric column.

Supported image file formats for Textures include the following formats:
Industry formats: (PNG, TIF, BMP, JPG, TGA,
PTC file formats IMG (Image), TX1 (Bumpmap), TX3 (Color Texture), TX4 (Decal)
The Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric does not create bodies in the Creo View structure for parts that contain only one body.
In Creo View, the embedded components are represented like the other components. These components do not have the attribute Source_file_name, but they do have the attribute Source_embedded_component with its value equal to 1.
Changing the Drawing Viewable File Format
1. In the Advanced > Miscellaneous tab, select one of these Drawing Output options:
HPGL
CGM
DWG
DXF
PDF
Configure the Generation of PDF Drawing Viewables in Creo Parametric
HPGL is the default output format for drawing viewables in Creo Parametric. To change the output to PDF perform the following procedure:
1. In the Advanced > Miscellaneous tab, set Drawing Output to PDF
2. In the Advanced > PDF Output Setup tab fill the settings.
*
See the PDF Output Setup section in Setting Options on the Advanced Tab for more details.
Alternatively, use a text editor to type adapter/outputDXFDrawing=4 to get the same results.
To Ensure that CAD Drawings Are Published Correctly
Very occasionally a Creo Parametric Drawing is published successfully from Windchill PDMLink 9.1 M040 CADworker, but without its drawing format. To ensure that all files are published with their drawing formats, open proe2pv recipe file in text editor and add the following recipe option:
adapter\ignoreMissingDwgFormat=1
