About Regions
Regions define areas of the design for various purposes, such as keepins and keepouts, placement groups, or constraint groups. A PCB Layout view can contain regions created in native ECAD tools, for example:

You can control the appearance of a region using color, visibility, highlighting, and isolation. Perform these additional operations using regions:
• Add to a group
• Search
• Compare
