About Light Scenes in Figures
The light scene for a figure affects the appearance of light and color in lit render modes. A figure opens with one of these lighting options set as default:
Headlight
Single Light
2 Lights
3 Lights
Select the light scene in Figure > Lights.
Headlight is the default option. You can change the default in the Creo Illustrate Options dialog box under Illustration > Model > Lighting.
All predefined light scenes except Headlight can be customized through the user interface or by editing the following LightScenes.xml file in the standard folder.
%APPDATA%\ptc\Illustrate\StandardFiles
You can also add or delete custom light scenes to the XML file. Any light scenes you add to the XML file will appear in the light scene list in the user interface.
Custom light scenes are used in published figures saved to 2D raster image formats.
They are also retained in exported 3D file formats that display surface shading.
