Importing a Standard
Importing a standard from an existing illustration into your standards list makes it available for editing. When editing a standard this way, you can preview the changes you make in the figures of the (original) illustration.

Follow these steps to import a standard
1. In the ribbon menu click Import, the browse dialog opens.
2. Select a c3di file from your list of files.
3. Click Open.
4. The Creo Illustrate: Standard Admin dialog opens.
 | • You cannot import a standard with an ID that matches one already in your list. • When an illustration without a standard (legacy file) is selected the user can choose a standard from their list to edit/preview. |
