To Unlink a 2D Figure
2D figures can be unlinked from their parent 3D figure to prevent any further updates when changes are made in the parent 3D figure. When a 2D figure has been unlinked it will no longer sync with its parent 3D figure.
*
Unlinking a 2D figure cannot be undone, there is no option to re-establish the link to the parent 3D figure.
Use the Unlink option to remove the association between a 3D figure and a 2D figure.
1. In the Figures list select one or more 2D figures, then right click and select Unlink. Alternatively, click Unlink from the Figure ribbon menu.
2. Click Yes in the Unlink Figure warning dialog box. The selected 2D figures are unlinked from the parent 3D figure.
*
Unlinking a 2D figure causes the figure to lose the indent from its parent 3D figure in the figure pane view.
