To Set Windchill Options
1. Click > . The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, select Global.
3. On the left, under General, select Windchill. The General-Windchill options open on the right.
4. To add a server for a direct connection, perform these steps:
a. Click Add. The Add Server dialog box opens.
b. Type a name and add a URL for the server.
c. Select Use Server side publishing or Use Client side publishing.
d. Click OK. The server is added to the list.
To add additional servers repeat steps above.

• Select Use Server side publishing for servers that are configured for server side publishing.
• Files outside of the PVZ such as movie files and U3D files are not published with client-side publishing.

5. To edit a server in the list, perform these steps:
a. Select the server and then click Edit. The Add Server dialog box opens.
b. Edit the Name or URL for the server, and then click OK.
6. To delete a server from the list, select the server and then click Delete. The server is deleted.
7. To set how to open a c3i on the server, select an option:
◦ Always try to check out.
◦ Always open as read only.
◦ Always ask.
8. To automatically open the edit attributes dialog in Windchill when saving to a workspace select On first save to a workspace, edit the Windchill attributes.

This is only available when saving to a workspace which was pre-configured in Windchill.

Click Apply to apply the options and keep the dialog box open, or click OK to apply the options and close the dialog box.
