To Animate the Visibility of a Decal
The visibility of decals can be animated to show adding and removing a decal as a step in a procedure.
To animate hiding or unhiding a decal:
1. In an open animation, with the animation recording on, select a part with a decal.
2. Right click on the part and select Edit Properties. The Part Properties dialog opens.
3. Select Appearance from the left menu.
4. In the Decals section, right click on the decal and select Hide.
5. A visibility track is added to the timeline for the decal.
