Defining Connection Styles
A connection style palette is an optional set of overrides that can be applied to connections at the figure or profile level.
Length Units
Length units must be defined for the connection styles file. The following units can be set:
MILLIMETER
INCH
POINT
This is an example of connection style length units:

Name
The connection styles name identifies it. If two connection styles have the same name, both are listed.
This is an example of a connection style name:

The table below shows line style arguments that can be defined for a connection style:
line— Sets the line style.
Line Style Arguments
Description
style
Selects the style of the line. For instance, multicolored, solid, dashed, and dotted.
Default value is solid.
color
Sets the color of the line.
weight
Sets the width of the line.
spacing
Sets the space between dots of the dotted style.
Default value is 0.5 mm.
pattern
Describes the pattern of the dashed line style.
Default value is 0.5 mm.
text_color
Sets the color of the line text.
border_color
Sets the color of the line border.
Default value is black.
border_weight
Sets the width of the line border in percentage where 100% is 1 and 40% is 0.4.
Default value is 0.1.
colorseg includes:
color—Sets the color of the segment.
length—Sets the length of the segment.
Applies only when multicolor is selected.
Each colorseg tag adds a color to the style.
If length is not defined then last length is used.
If there are no lengths, or all lengths are 0, then the border weight is used as length, in which case all color segments are squares.

border_color or border_weight
solid or multicolor

You can set any angle between -45 and +45 degrees, and also 90 degrees.
