To Add an Animation Effect
All effects are added to an effects container under each component in the timeline. Effects segments are shown as green in the timeline. To prevent conflicting tracks from being added to the timeline, a conflict segment will also be added to that component’s property tracks.
To add an effect, you can either select the components in the graphics view first and then choose the effect to add or select the effect first and add the components to the list in the Effects dialog.
1. In an open animation, in the Animation ribbon under Effects, click the arrow, and select an effect to add. The selected effect dialog box opens.
2. In the graphics area select one or more parts.
3. In the Effects dialog box, click Add, the items get added to the components list.
4. Adjust the settings for the effect as required.
5. Click OK. The effect is added.
*
An effects container track will be added for each component that was in the components list.
