To Set Loading Options
1. Click > . The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, click Global.
3. On the left, under General, select Loading. The General-Loading options open on the right.
4. To update linked items automatically, or to require confirmation before updating, select one of these options under Linked file settings:
◦ Always update - no confirmation—Updates linked items automatically, without notice or confirmation.
◦ Update after confirmation only—Opens the Manage Links dialog box when you open a changed file with a list of linked items you can update.
5. To automatically open the Manage Link: <source data file name> dialog box each time you import a file as a linked file, select Prompt user each time a file is imported.
6. To display update options for a companion xml file when importing CAD data to restructure the sBOM, select Show companion xml file update options (selected by default).
7. Under sBOM generation, set the parameters for automatically generating and updating an sBOM for each data type:
◦ 3D data
◦ Schematic data
| For each data type, you can also select Including updates to automatically update the sBOM with changes to the linked data. |
8. Under CSV file import settings, select to Link or Embed CSV data.
9. To update linked items automatically, or to require confirmation before updating, select one of these options under Linked file settings:
◦ Always update - no confirmation—Updates linked items automatically, without notice or confirmation.
◦ Update after confirmation only—Opens the Manage Links dialog box when you open a changed file with a list of linked items you can update.
10. Specify the following parameters:
◦ Header Row
◦ Delimiter
◦ Identifier
◦ Default category
11. If you are importing new attributes only, select the Import new attributes and values only check box.
12. Select the Enable automatic import of companion csv files check box to automatically import CSV companion files.
13. To automatically open the New Figure dialog box when you import data, select the Open the New Figure dialog on import check box.
14. Select the Show update to standard message when opening files preceding Creo Illustrate 4.0 check box to display an update message before opening legacy files.
15. To include textures when importing 3D data, select the Load textures check box.
| The following 3D texture files are not supported: • Assembly level textures • Texture files with the same name • Dynamic Representation |
16. Click Apply to apply the settings and continue setting options, or click OK to apply the settings and close the dialog box.
