To Apply a Texture at the sBOM Level
A texture added to a part at the sBOM level is added to the structure. The texture will display on all existing and new figures in the illustration.
Applying a Texture
1. Load the parts of the structure.

Textures cannot be added to parts while the color coded view is enabled.
2. Click Home > Textures > Add Texture. The Texture Library dialog box opens.

When the texture library has not been populated the Select Texture dialog box will open to select an image file to use for the texture.
3. Select a texture and click Insert. The Add Texture dialog box opens.
4. Click a point on the face of the part to apply the texture. The texture displays on the part centered on the selected point.
5. Select Repeat, Mirror or Wrap to set how the texture is applied to the part.
6. Select a mapping shape from the list that best suits the part, to edit the mapping shape orientation click on the Edit button which opens the Mapping Shape dialog. For more information, see Editing a Mapping Shape

Wrap is not available when the Plane mapping shape is selected.
7. Position and scale the texture using either the in-view dragger or the controls in the dialog.
8. Click OK. The texture is applied to the part.
Modifying sBOM Level Textures
Textures applied at the sBOM level can be edited, hidden or deleted in structure edit, at the figure level you can only hide/unhide them. Any changes made in structure edit will affect all figures.

sBOM level textures hidden in a figure will remain hidden in that figure, even after changes are made in structure edit.
1. Select a part with a texture in the sBOM
2. Right-click and choose Edit Properties. The Part Properties dialog box opens. Click Appearance. The Part Properties dialog box opens in the Appearance view.
3. Select the texture in the Textures section
4. Right click on the texture. Select Edit, Hide or Delete
