Linking to the Windchill Server
Use the direct connection to the Windchill server to import CAD files to Creo Illustrate or open existing c3di files already stored on the server.
When saving a file to Windchill you can choose to save to a workspace or the common space. When working with a file from the common space the file will automatically check in when it is closed.

• > Exit
When working with a file from a workspace you can manually check in or check out the file.

• The status of the file on the server displays in the title bar.
• Changes made to a read only file cannot be saved. Use the Save As option to create a new file.
