Customizing Shared Preferences
To share a set of symbols, stamps, insets, recipes and callouts, the administrator needs to edit the standard and then re-import it using the Creo Illustrate Options dialog.
Adding a Custom Set of Callouts to a Standard
To define a shared set of symbols, stamps, insets, recipes, and callouts in Creo Illustrate 4.0 and later, follow this procedure:
1. Extract previously exported standard Zip archive to a folder.
2. Navigate to the subfolderCalloutsLibrary\standard.
3. Open CalloutTemplates.xml in a text editor.
4. Add desired <annotation> section(s).
5. Save CalloutTemplates.xml
6. Copy corresponding thumbnail png files to the folder CalloutsLibrary\standard.
7. Create new Zip archive.
8. Launch Creo Illustrate 4.0.
9. Import the Zip archive as new Standard by means of the Creo Illustrate Options > Global > Standard > Add option.
Adding a Custom Set of Light Scenes to a Standard
To add a custom set of Light Scenes to a standard, follow this procedure:
1. Extract previously exported standard Zip archive to a folder.
2. Navigate to the subfolderLightScenes\standard.
3. Open LightScenes.xml in a text editor.
4. Add desired <lightscene> section(s).
5. Save LightScenes.xml.
6. Create new Zip archive.
7. Launch Creo Illustrate 4.0.
8. Import the Zip archive as new Standard by means of the Creo Illustrate Options > Global > Standard > Add option.
