To Insert Callouts
To Insert a Single Callout Annotation
1. Click > , and then select a callout from the drop down list.
2. Click in the figure window. The pointer changes to a
callout insertion pointer.
3. If you are placing a callout with a leader line, click on the part of the figure where you want the head of leader line and then drag to define the length and direction of the line. Release to place the label. The callout appears in the foreground.
In the upper data panel
Figure Content pane, a corresponding
Callout entry appears.
To Move a Callout in the Figure Window
To move the callout in the figure window, perform the following actions:
1. Place the pointer over the callout leader or label.
2. When the pointer changes to a
callout editing pointer, click to select the callout. This also highlights the part, or parts, the callout references, in both the figure window and the item list.
3. Point inside the callout label. The pointer changes to a
move pointer.
4. Drag the callout label to its new position.
To Insert a Single Callout Annotation for Multiple Instances
To insert one callout annotation for multiple instances of the same item using multiple leader lines, perform the following actions:
1. Click > . 2. Select more than one instance of the same item. 3. Click > or Item Number x Quantity. A single callout with multiple leader lines to all instances of the same item appears in the figure and is added to the Figure Content pane. | |

To Insert One Callout Annotation for Multiple Instances of the Same Item Using a Single Leader Line
To insert one callout annotation for multiple instances of the same item using a single leader line, perform the following actions:
1. Click > . 2. Select more than one instance of the same item. 3. Click > or Item Number x Quantity. | |
