To Save a Figure As an External File Type
You can optionally select a figure in a C3DI file and save it as an external file type.
To Save a 3D Figure as a 2D Illustration File in ISO, CGM, or SVG Format
1. Select the 3D figure to export from the Figures tab.
2. From the File menu, select Save Figure As > Save As Illustration File. The Save Figure As Illustration dialog box opens.
3. In the Save Figure As Illustration dialog box, specify the file name, and type.
4. Click Save. The settings dialog box opens based on the file type:
For CGM file —Save Figure As CGM - Settings
For SVG files —Save Figure As SVG - Settings
For ISO file —Save Figure As IsoDraw - Settings
5. Define the setting, and then click OK. The figure is saved.
To Save a 2D Figure as an Illustration file in ISO, CGM, or SVG Format
1. Select the 2D figure to export from the Figures tab.
2. From the File menu, select Save Figure As > Save As Illustration File. The Save Figure As Illustration dialog box opens.
3. In the Save Figure As Illustration dialog box, specify the file name, and type.
4. Click Save. The options dialog box opens for CGM and SVG files:
For CGM file —CGM Options dialog box opens. Select a CGM Profile and then click OK.
For SVG files —SVG Options dialog box opens. Select the hotspot options for callouts, and then click OK.
The figure is saved.
