To Cut, Copy, and Paste Design Objects
You can paste design objects in one of two ways.
Copying and Pasting
1. Select the design objects, right-click, and choose Copy from the shortcut menu. The objects are copied to the clipboard.
2. Click a point on the same sheet or a different sheet, right-click, and choose one of the following options from the shortcut menu.
Paste—Pastes a new instance of all copied design objects including conductors.
Paste Shapes—Pastes a new shape of the copied components. Conductors are filtered out.

You can use the commands in the Tools tab Clipboard group to cut, copy, and paste design objects.
Cutting and Pasting
1. Select the design objects, right-click, and choose Cut from the shortcut menu. The design objects are removed from the sheet to the clipboard.
2. Click a point on the same sheet or a different sheet, right-click, and choose Paste from the shortcut menu. The cut objects, including conductors, are pasted in the new location.
Pasting Group Members
1. Customize the ribbon to add the Paste Options command.
2. Click Paste Options. The Paste Options dialog box opens.
3. Select an option from the Paste Group members list.
4. Click the Recalculate derived parameters check box to recalculate derived parameters after pasting the group member.
