To Configure Default Instance Tool Shortcuts
1. Click > > . The Change environment options for working with Creo page opens.
2. Click Custom Command Settings. The Define Custom Command dialog box opens.
3. Click Custom Shortcuts. The following Custom Commands appear in the list:
◦ Instance Block
◦ Instance Draft Group
◦ Instance Group
◦ Instance Port
◦ Route Cable\Pipeline
◦ Route Fiber
◦ Route Highway
4. To set the desired artifact, select a command in the list and click Shortcut Properties. The Instance Tool Properties dialog box opens.
5. Click
. The
Catalog Selector opens.
6. Select the folder or artifact and shape to associate with the shortcut instance button.
7. Click OK. The Catalog Selector closes and the Instance Tool Properties dialog box is updated.
8. If the shortcut is to an artifact and shape, add or edit parameters in the Parameters tab:
◦ None—Retains all parameters and values.
◦ User Defined—Adds, edits, or removes parameters and values.
◦ Catalog—Sets parameters and values from a catalog item associated datatable.
9. Click OK. The selected folder, or shape is added to the custom button.
10. Click Apply.
11. Repeat from step 3 until all default instance tool shortcuts are set.
12. Click OK.
13. Add the shortcuts to a custom group on a default tab or a custom tab.
