To Add Customized Report Format Commands
You can create customized report formats and assign them to a button to generate specialized reports.
1. In an open design, save a report format.
2. Click File > Options. The Creo Schematics Options dialog box opens.
3. Click Environment and click Custom Command Settings. The Define Custom Command dialog box opens.
4. Select Custom Reports from the Categories list. Custom reports defined in the design display in the Custom Commands list.
5. To create a new custom report, click New.
6. Accept the default, or type a new name for the report in the Label box.
7. To describe the report format, type a Description in the box.
8. To use a saved report format file, click next to the Report Format box. Browse to the required file and click OK.
9. Click OK in the Define Custom Command dialog box. The command is now available in the list of custom commands to add to the ribbon.
10. Click Customize Ribbon.
11. Select Custom Commands from the Category list. The list of custom commands displays. Report format custom commands are identified by the icon.
12. Create a custom group, or select an existing custom group on a tab.
13. With the custom group selected, select the custom report command and click Add >>. The custom report command is added to the selected group.
14. Click OK.
