About Routing Fibers
When you place an instance of a wire you route a fiber. Fibers are usually routed between ports, but you can also route a fiber from a free point on a design sheet. Fibers can also be routed across more than one sheet.
You can route a fiber following an existing fiber. The direction of the newly routed fiber is determined by the order of the ports selected. You can select a fiber to follow in a cable or a pipeline group, but you cannot select the cable or pipeline group itself. The newly routed fiber is not added to the cable or pipeline group.
