About the Flatten-Quilt Deformation User Interface
The Flatten-Quilt Deformation tab consists of commands, tabs, and shortcut menus. Click Model > Surfaces > Flatten-Quilt Deformation to open the Flatten-Quilt Deformation tab.
Commands

—Changes the reference geometry from a flat surface to a bent quilt.
• 
—Changes the reference geometry from a bent quilt to a flat surface.
• Flatten Quilt Feature collector—Displays a Flatten Quilt feature to transform.
Tabs
• References
◦ Flatten Quilt Feature collector—Displays a Flatten Quilt feature to transform.
◦ Solid Geometry check box—Bends or flattens solid geometry.
◦ Quilts collector—Displays quilts to bend or flatten.
◦ Curves and Points collector—Displays curves to bend or flatten, or datum points to transform.
▪ Details—Opens the Chains dialog box to edit chains.
• Properties
◦ Name—Sets a name for a feature.
◦ 
—Displays detailed component information in a browser.
Shortcut Menus
Right-click the graphics window to access shortcut menu command.
• Flatten Quilt Feature—Activates the Flatten Quilt Feature collector.
• Quilts—Activates the Quilts collector.
• Curves and Points—Activates the Curves and Points collector.
• Clear—Clears the active collector.
• Solid Geometry check box—Bends or flattens solid geometry.
