To Explore Cross Sections
1. To select the direction for the cross section, click Results > Section, and then click a direction:
◦ No Section—Shows the model without a cross section. Use this option to remove the cross section view.
◦ X Direction—Shows a cross section at a cutting plane that is perpendicular to the x-axis.
◦ Y Direction—Shows a cross section at a cutting plane that is perpendicular to the y-axis.
◦ Z Direction—Shows a cross section at a cutting plane that is perpendicular to the z-axis.
2. Use the sliders to move the cutting plane the desired distance along the selected direction:
◦ X Direction
▪ Section Upper Cutoff
▪ Section Lower Cutoff
▪ Both:
◦ Y Direction
▪ Section Upper Cutoff
▪ Section Lower Cutoff
◦ Z Direction
▪ Section Upper Cutoff
▪ Section Lower Cutoff
