Frictionless Constraint—Creo Simulation Live
A frictionless constraint prevents translational movement normal to the selected surface while allowing movement in all other directions.
To Define a Frictionless Constraint
1. Click Live Simulation > Frictionless. The Frictionless Constraint dialog box opens. From this dialog box you can create a constraint that allows full planar displacement, but constrains off-plane displacement.
2. Specify a Name for the constraint or accept the default.
3. Select the surfaces to constrain. You can select planar and curved surfaces. The Surfaces collector displays your selections.
4. Click OK to create and save the frictionless constraint.
