Example: Laminate Layup
A laminate layup is a number of shells layered together. Each shell has its own midsurface. You calculate the stress for each ply when you analyze the model.
For a shell with laminates, the face of the shell is at the midsurface of the laminated layers:
When you create a laminate stiffness shell property set, you can realign the default material orientation.
