Converting the Material Library File to the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0 Format

If you stored a material to a material library file in a release before Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0, you will probably want to convert the old Creo Simulate material library file to the new material library file. To do so, use the File > Convert pre-Wildfire 3.0 library command in the Materials dialog box to convert the material library defined in Creo Simulate to Creo Parametric material library.

If you have not created new materials in a release before Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0 release, there is no need to perform conversion of materials using the File > Convert pre-Wildfire 3.0 library command. All materials that were shipped in the releases before Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0 are available in the material library.
