To Define a Stress Intensity Factor Measure
You must have selected Stress Intensity Factor on the Measure Definition dialog box before you proceed.
1. Select an option for Component from Mode I (Opening), Mode II (Sliding) or Mode III (Tearing).
 
* Mode III (Tearing) is available only for 3D models.
2. Click Crack and select a crack you have defined in the model.
3. Click Point and perform the following steps using the Points Selection dialog box:
Select a point, a point feature, or a pattern of points on the crack tip in the case of a 2D model. Select a point on the crack front in the case of a 3D model.
Click OK.
4. Click OK.
