To Assign a Creo Simulate Material in Creo Parametric
This procedure assumes you have a part file open in Creo Simulate.
1. Click
Home >
Materials. The
Materials dialog box appears.
2. Highlight one of the material names in the Materials in Library or Materials in Model list.
3. Click Assign and select Part from the menu.
4. Use the normal selection methods to select a part on your model. The material name appears in the Materials in Model list.
5. Click Close.
6. Click
to return to
Creo Parametric.
7. Click
File >
Prepare >
Model Properties to open the
Model Properties dialog box. Click
change adjacent to
Materials to open the
Materials dialog box.
8. Select the material you assigned in Creo Simulate.
9. Select OK to assign the material to the part.
