Mapkeys are keyboard macros that map frequently used command sequences to certain keyboard keys or sets of keys.

In both Integrated and Standalone mode you can create mapkeys and play back mapkeys that are created in Creo Parametric. If you try to play back a mapkey that contains a command not supported in Simulate, the mapkey is aborted.

Mapkeys created are not visible on the ribbon user interface. To view created mapkeys, select Customize Ribbon on the Creo Simulate Options dialog box and then select Mapkeys. Mapkeys created for the model are displayed. You can add them to the ribbon as a new group on a new tab.
