Entering Creo Simulate with Failed Features
You can open a model created in Creo Parametric with features that failed to regenerate in Creo Simulate. You can also open such models in Creo Simulate Standalone. The failed features appear on the Model Tree for the part. You can create simulation objects on geometry from failed features or components and regenerate the model. You can define and modify the simulation model, run analyses, and view the results.
You cannot perform the following operations on a model with failed features:
Create an optimization study
Create a sensitivity study
Create a standard design study in which you must select dimension variables and parameters
Copy, edit, or run an existing optimization or sensitivity study
Copy, edit, or run an existing offset standard design study.
