To Place a Punch UDF
Before performing this procedure, you must create a punch UDF.
1. Click Model > Engineering > Punch. The Open dialog box opens.
2. Select a UDF file (.gph). and click Open. The Insert User-Defined Feature dialog box opens.
3. Click one of the following:
Make features dependent on dimensions of UDF—Toggles the dependency of dimensions of the copied group.
Advanced reference configuration—Places the punch UDF by mapping references.
View source model—Retrieves and shows the punch UDF source model in a separate window.
4. Click OK. The User Defined Feature Placement dialog box opens to the Placement tab.
5. Select a reference from the References of Original Features list and a matching reference for the user-defined feature from the Model Tree or graphics window. The reference appears in the reference collector.
6. Repeat step 5 for all the references on the References of Original Features list.
7. Perform one of the following operations:
To accept the direction and place the punch UDF, click .
To change the UDF placement orientation, click the Adjustments tab and then Flip or Next. Click to accept the direction and place the punch UDF.
