To Join Walls
1. On the Design tab, click Editing > Join. The Join tab opens.
2. Select two intersecting walls to join.

* Alternatively, you can first select the geometry and then click Join.
3. To flip the portion of the walls to join, click to flip the portion of the first wall, or click to flip the portion of the second wall.
4. To add a bend at the wall intersection, click and set the value of the bend radius and bend location:
—dimensions the radius from the outside surface of the wall.
—dimensions the radius from the inside surface of the wall.
—dimensions the radius according to the location controlled by the SMT_DFLT_RADIUS_SIDE parameter.
5. To change the default bend relief, click Relief. The Relief tab opens. Select a relief type.
For Stretch, Rectangular, and Obround reliefs, type values for the relief depth, relief angle, and relief width, as relevant.
6. To trim the nonintersecting portions of the walls, click Options. The Options tab opens. Click the Trim nonintersecting geometry check box and select one of these options:
Up to bend—Trims the walls up to the bend. This option is available only when you add a bend at the wall intersection.
Up to intersection line—Trims the walls up to their intersection.
Click Along intersection line to trim the nonintersecting portions of the walls along the entire intersection line.
7. To set feature-specific bend allowance and calculate the developed length using a different method from that of the part, perform the following operations:
a. Click Bend Allowance. The Bend Allowance tab opens.
b. Click Use feature settings.
c. Perform one of the following operations:
Click By K factor or By Y factor and type a new factor value or select one from the list.
To use a bend table to calculate developed length for arcs, click By bend table. Use the default table, select a new one from the list, or click Browse to browse to a different table.

* Only bend tables copied to the part are available.
