About the Cross Sections of Solid Rectangular Pipes
The cross section of a solid rectangular pipe must follow the Route coordinate system if its trajectory begins with one of the following features:
A Pipe Set Start feature on a coordinate system that is followed by a Pipe Extend feature with the same coordinate system.
A Connect feature that starts with a coordinate system.
The following figure shows solid rectangular pipes with their cross sections aligned with their respective Route coordinate systems.
Manually Rotating Solid Rectangular Pipes
You can manually rotate a solid rectangular pipe in the following ways:
Edit the angle dimension of the pipe solid feature. This rotates the related solid part.
Edit the Angle parameter defined in the Line Stock. This rotates all the solids that reference the Line Stock.
Updating the Model to Align the Cross Section with the Route Coordinate System
When the cross section of a solid rectangular pipe does not follow its Route coordinate system, you need to update the model.
The following figure shows a solid rectangular pipe with its cross section not aligned with its Route coordinate system ACS0.
When the cross section of a solid rectangular pipe is not aligned with its Route coordinate system, you can:
1. Regenerate the Route features using the Model Player or any other option.
2. Recreate the pipe solids.
