Piping > Routing > Routing in Non Spec-Driven Piping Mode > To Route a Typical Pipeline

To Route a Typical Pipeline
1. Use one of the following options to enter the routing environment:
Click Create Pipe to create a new pipe line. Create a new line stock or select an existing one.
Click Route Pipe and select a pipe line in the Model Tree.
2. Click Set Start to set a start point.
3. Click Extend to extend pipe segments. You may create individual unconnected segments. Select a new start point where necessary.
When routing segments continuously, the endpoint that was just created automatically becomes the start point for the next routing operation.
4. Click Environment to change the routing environment options.
5. Click Connect to connect individual segments of the same pipeline.
6. Create other pipelines to add branches to the main pipeline; then create branches.
