Selection filters enable you to filter the type of entities that you want to select. The Sketcher selection filter, located on the status bar of the Sketcher window, enables you to select only the geometry, dimensions, or constraints of the sketch. When you select a filter, objects of only that filter type are selected or highlighted. You can select all objects of that filter type at the same time by enclosing your sketch in a selection box or select entities of that filter type by clicking on them one by one.

For example, if you select Geometry, only those Sketcher geometric entities in the current sketching environment are selected or highlighted and the other entities are not available for selection. By default, the Sketcher selection filter is set to All.
