To Set the Lattice Beams
This procedure only applies to 3D lattice.
1. Click
Engineering >
Lattice. The
Lattice tab opens.
2. For 3D lattice, click Beam. The Beam tab opens.
3. To set the shape of the beam, in the Cross Section Type, select one of the following:
◦ Circular
◦ Square
◦ Hexagonal
4. To set the size of the cross section of the beam, in the Cross Section Size box, type the value.
5. To select the shape of the beam, from the Profile Type list, select one of the following:
◦ To set a simple straight beam, select Straight.
◦ To set the shape of the beam to parabolic, select Parabolic and type the Parabolic Radius and the Profile Coefficient.
6. For beams with a straight profile, to add a ball at each beam intersection, select the Ball Diameter and type a value.
