To Create a Coordinate System from a File

Part Modeling > Datum Features > Coordinate Systems > From a File > To Create a Coordinate System from a File

1. In the graphics window, select an existing coordinate system, and right-click and choose

Edit Definition from the shortcut menu. The Coordinate System dialog box opens.

2. In the Offset type box, select From File. The Open dialog box opens.

3. Select the transformation file (.trf) to load and click the Open. A preview of the new coordinate system appears in the graphics window at the location specified in the transformation file.

4. Click OK.
