Sprue Pressure Plot
The sprue pressure plot is a graph of the sprue pressure versus the filling time. You can use this plot to identify any unusual increase in the sprue pressure during filling. Usually the sprue pressure does not exceed the maximum allowed injection pressure that is set as a process condition. If the calculated sprue pressure keeps rising to the maximum allowed injection pressure until the end of filling, hesitation or short shot can occur.
Clamping Force Plot
The clamping force plot is a graph of the clamping force versus the filling time. Clamping force is the amount of the force required to keep the two halves of the mold pressed together. You can use this result to identify the flash problems. If the calculated clamping force is larger than 70 percent of the machine maximum clamping force, there is a chance of plastic melt being squeezed outside the cavity and causing flash.
Flow Rate Plot
The flow rate plot is a graph of the summation of the flow rate all gates versus the filling time. The flow rate will not increase if it reaches the maximum value.
