To Create and Define a Volume
1. Click
Mold >
Mold Volume >
Mold Volume or click
Cast >
Die Volume >
Die Volume. The
Edit Mold Volume or the
Edit Die Volume tab opens.
2. Use the Engineering or Base Feature tools such as Extrude or Revolve to create the required mold or die volume.
3. Click
OK. The mold or die volume is displayed with a default name in the Model Tree.
After defining the volume, you can perform various operations on it such as name, blank, or shade the workpiece or die block individually without relying on layer functionality. To further refine, you can create rounds on volume edges.
