Working with Family Tables and the Process Manager
If you are working on a generic feature in a family table, you can activate and use the Process Manager. The Process Manager is not available if you open an instance of the generic feature.
If you create new steps in the Process Manager and add them as features to the manufacturing model, these steps are added to the generic feature and all its instances. However, you must edit the family table to include the steps in the family table instance. If you change the values for steps in the Process Manager, the generic feature and its instances in the family table are also automatically updated.
If you delete a feature in the Process Manager, only the generic feature is deleted from the family table and not its instances.
