About Using Layouts for 3D Design
You can use layouts as the basis for developing 3D designs. Only entities tagged as public can be shared. Use the following methods to place a layout in a 3D design:
• Insert the layout as a layout feature into a Creo Parametric part or assembly.
• Assemble the layout as a part in a Creo Parametric assembly using component placement.
• Export the layout to other 3D design applications.
