To Perform a Model Check in ECAD-MCAD Collaboration
1. To check clearance of added components before you accept a change, open the assembly and open the Creo ECAD-MCAD Collaboration tab.
2. Open Creo View ECAD Validate and open the incremental EDMD IDX file.
3. Preview the changes in Creo Parametric using Creo View ECAD Validate. When an object is being added it is added to the Model Tree.
4. In Creo Parametric, click the Analysis tab.
5. Click the arrow next to Global Interference and click Pairs Clearance. The Pairs Clearance dialog box opens.
6. Check the added components against housings and other large mechanical parts that could interfere.
7. When you find interference, reject the change in Creo View ECAD Validate.
