Best Practices for Modeling Boards
Following is a list of recommended best practices for creating features on flexible boards:
When you intend to create holes in flexible boards on the bent surfaces, unbend these surfaces. After the holes are added, bendback the surfaces. Holes created this way always remain circular for collaboration.
When you place ECAD areas, place them on a planar surface. The ECAD areas will follow further bend operations.
When you create features in the board part, such as holes and areas, do not use references from components on the board. This prevents the creation of circular references.
