To Create an On Item Note
An on-item note is directly attached to the selected item. You can bypass the leader setup options to specify the note text and an item to which the note attaches.
1. On the
Annotate Tab, click the arrow next to
Note and click
On Item Note.
2. Select one of the following entities as a reference for the note:
◦ Edge
◦ Entity
◦ Datum point
◦ Coordinate system
◦ Curve
◦ Wire or cable symbol
◦ Point on a surface
◦ Vertex
◦ Section
The origin of the note text box is placed at the location that you select on the entity. The Format tab opens. Use the commands on the Format tab to format the note text.
3. Type the note text and click outside the text box to place the note.
