To Create a Tangent Leader Note
You can create a note with its leader tangent to an entity.
1. On the
Annotate Tab, click the arrow next to
Note and click
Tangent Leader Note.
2. Select one of the following entities as a reference for the note:
◦ Edge
◦ Entity
◦ Dimension witness line
◦ Datum point
◦ Axis line
◦ Curve
◦ Vertex
◦ Section
A tangent leader with rubber-band effect appears attached to the selected reference entity. You can drag and place the note text box.
To replace the selected reference, hold down the CTRL key and click another entity.
3. Middle-click on the drawing to specify a location for the note. The Format tab opens. Use the commands on the Format tab to format the note text.
4. Type the note text and click outside the text box to place the note.
