About Dynamic Movement of Dimensions
You can dynamically move a dimension and visualize the movement with live preview (rubber-band effect) as you drag the dimension. You can dynamically move the dimension to adjust the dimension height, move the dimension text, clip the witness line, move jog, move break, or skew the dimension.
The dimension appears highlighted as you hover the cursor over any part of the dimension and select the dimension. Additionally, as you position the cursor over or near the drag handles of the selected dimension, such as, arrows, witness lines, jog handles, break handles, witness line clipping draggers, or the skew dragger, these drag handles appear highlighted.

* In Drawing mode, you can select multiple dimensions and drag to move the selected dimensions.
When you select the dimension with the cursor over the dimension text, the cursor changes to a four-way move arrow. If you hold down the SHIFT key when you drag the dimension, the cursor changes to a two-way move arrow with a constrained movement of the dimension text along the leader elbow. This way you can drag the dimension to increase or decrease the length of the leader elbow, or flip the dimension text to the opposite side of the leader.

* You can undo or redo all the dynamic move actions of the dimension.
When you drag and move the dimension, the dimension snaps to the following areas:
Center Zone — This is located exactly between the witness lines of the selected dimension. When you drag a dimension, if the dimension text is placed close to the center of the leader line (between the witness lines of the dimension), the dimension text snaps to the center.
When the center zone is active, a guide appears through the center of the leader line and is perpendicular to the leader line.
Leader Alignment Zone — This is located at the arrow point of an adjacent dimension. When you drag a dimension, if the arrow point of the dimension is placed close to the arrow point of an adjacent dimension, the arrow of the dimension that you are dragging snaps and aligns to the arrow point of the adjacent dimension.
When the leader alignment zone is active, a guide appears aligned with the arrow point of the adjacent dimension.
