Interface > Working with Imported Geometry > Basic Methods > To Create a Solid Model from a Wireframe

To Create a Solid Model from a Wireframe
1. Click Model > Datum > Plane to create datum planes for sketching references through the wireframe entities. The Datum Plane dialog box opens.
2. Select Through as the reference.
3. Enter Sketcher mode.
4. Click Sketch > Project. The Type dialog box opens.
5. Select a single, chain, or loop edge type in the Type dialog box to use edges to construct solid features.

* To remove the parent-child dependency between the Creo features and the imported feature, remove the alignment of the geometric entities that are created. Dimension the entities that are relative to the default datums and to each other.
6. Place the wireframe on a layer and blank the layer.
