Creating an Export File
STL, RENDER, and Inventor work only with the parts and assemblies of a Creo solid model. This means that imported files must be repaired to a solid model first before exporting. In Assembly mode, you can select any number of parts to include in the file.
When you create an STL or Inventor file for a model, the model is shaded and the triangles created are displayed. If the system fails to create an STL file, the problem surfaces are highlighted.
